In response to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Baltimore City requires museums to operate at 50% capacity, and in the interest of visitor and staff safety, Historic Ships in Baltimore has implemented the following essential modifications to our operations to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all:
Before you Visit
Masks are required for all guests 2 years of age and older while on board our ships. Proper face coverings must
-cover the nose and mouth,
-be secured with ties or ear loops and fit snugly against the face.
-be made of medical-grade material or cloth (either purchased or handmade).
All guests are subject to screening questions before boarding, including whether you have shown signs or symptoms of COVID19
*No health data will be recorded as part of this procedure
As always, stroller use is not allowed on board the ships. To maintain proper safety and social distancing protocols, an area of each vessel has been designated as a parking area for strollers for self-park, but space is limited
During Your Visit
Guests are required to maintain at least a 6-foot space between groups for social distancing at all times while on board the ships.
To ensure an efficient and safe flow through the ships for all guests, a linear path has been established with a single entrance and exit. Signage has been placed throughout the experience to help guests navigate along the linear pathway.
Wait Until Clear
We ask that guests do not proceed into an area until the preceding group ahead of you has moved on to the next area.
